The Doctor brings Graham, Ryan and Yaz home but soon discover something very wrong with the spiders in Sheffield. What has caused them to grow to such extraordinary sizes, and how is it linked to wealthy businessman Jack Robertson?
After getting caught in the blast of a sonic mine, the TARDIS crew awake to find themselves on the hospital ship Tsuranga, travelling through deep space, but the ship has been boarded by a deadly and very unusual creature.
The TARDIS brings the Doctor and her friends to the Punjab in 1947, and find that they have arrived in the midst of the partition of India. As Yaz tries to learn more about her grandmother's past, a wedding is on the horizon, as are demons stalking the land...
